A new weekend but the same routine. This time we were joined by Jennifer, Jessica and Cookie. We planned to spend Saturday night at Zelda and return on Sunday afternoon, but Brent was tired and decided to shutdown and leave around 6:30 pm on Saturday. No one including, Cookie protested.
The materials for trim-out upstairs arrived and have been placed in side the house. The materials include the doors, crown molding, pull down stairs and baseboards. This should be installed starting the week of May 25th.
Very little progress on the electrical. Our electrican did show-up but made very little progress. Brent may have to take off work and hold a vigil while he works.
Well, the progress we made on Saturday included, touch up painting near the ceilings, the corners, the upstairs hallway, and the upstairs bathroom. The tiles in the masterbath were cleaned and prepared for the removal of excess mortar which will be done next weekend. Brent concentrated on repairing the wood floor in spots. He also created three (3) transitions on doorways.
We also cleaned and mopped the wood floors upstairs to prepare for the guy coming in two (2) weeks to sand and finish the wood floors. It was a long day and we all worked hard put it did not feel like we got alot accomplished. We are just taking it one (1) day at a time.
