Primer Work Continues

Brent and Lynn traveled back to Kings Mountain on Saturday and continued with priming the remaing rooms upstairs. It rained the entire trip over and all day while we painted. We puchased a new five (5) gallon can of primer at Lowes in Shelby and left after the contents were put on the walls and ceilings. All the ceilings have been primed and only a few walls in the master bath remain to be painted.

Next week Lynn will continue to paint, both priming the walls and applying ceiling paint on the remaing ceilings upstairs. This will include three (3) bedrooms, the hallway and the master bath and small bath. Brent will start tiling the downstairs bathroom shower and bathroom floor. We will insert pictures next week.

Well we got back to the house in Gatlinburg and on Sunday afternoon we started getting snow. By Monday morning we had about six inches on the ground and Cookie loved it.

Valentine's Day 2009

Well, we spent Valentines Day at Zelda painting and priming the ceilings and walls. Brent, Lynn, Cookie and the girls, worked most of the day and got alot accomplished. Brent met with the electrican and he should resume work once we have finished the painting. All the downstairs ceilings have received their finish coats with the exception of the small bathroom. The downstairs final coats should be completed the next weekend we are at Zeda and the entire upstairs will be primed. The upstairs hall and front bedroom were completely primed. The girls have cleaned (broomed and washed) all the remaining walls so the prep work is ready for the primer. Brent will start laying tile in the small bathroom and hopefully have it useable before the end of March.
