Is That A Light At The End of the Tunnel?

We drove back down to Zelda for a three (3) day work week on Thursday evening (July 15, 2010) and arrived around 2:00 am on Friday morning.  This weekend we continued with installing the shoe molding, interior painting and caulking.  The shoe molding is complete with the exception of the bedroom closets, the downstairs laundry room and the pantry.  Also, the pot filler faucet was attached, the gas for the keeping room fireplace connected and the fake logs installed.  Outside, the brick skirt around the bottom outside perimeter of Zelda was painted black.  The broken pieces of tile on the entrance sidewalk steps were removed and some saved for rework.

We also meet with real estate agents and we have made our decision.  Looks like Zelda will be on the market around August 1, 2010, for an asking price around $300k.  The agent commented that nothing needed to be done on the inside as it was beautiful and the flow was great.  Everyone commented on the kitchen and the true master bedroom suite.  We are going to install a two (2) car metal carport to house the new owner's vehicles and we will put some landscaping.

Our next trip is scheduled for the last weekend in July has again it will be a three (3) day work week.  We will be clearing all the tools and few items remaining in Zelda to store in the outside storage area.  After three (3) years of work, we are hoping that it is truly a light at the end of the tunnel and not a train.

The new pot filler.

The pot filler will swing over three (3) of the burners.
