Photos of Breakfast Area in Kitchen

The kitchen has made a dramatic change from when we first viewed it.  The original kitchen had more of the brick mason work with a complete wall covered in brick.  The only problem is that there were no brick ties, such that any force could pull the wall down.  Also, the hot water heater and washer and dryer were in a room at the back of the kitchen where the stove is now located.  We were not big fans of the blue wall color and shutter style cabinet doors. 

The first set of kitchen photos are of the breakfast area.

Before:  The brick wall in the breakfast area of kitchen.  The foyer to the left leads to the outside back deck.

The brick wall comes tumbling down.

After:  The bar area is where the breakfast area wall was located.





The former breakfast area.  The double doors to the left are located where the brick wall was.  Through the double doors it leads through the mudroom and to the back deck, similar to first photo.
