More Progress Being Made

I talked with our trim carpenter on Friday and he was now putting the wood flooring down in the keeping room.  The keeping room is the last room downstairs to have the flooring installed.  Once that was installed, there was a few more trim items that he needed to install.

Brent will then need to arrange to have the heart of pine upstairs floors refinished.  Below are some more pictures taken the last week we were at Zelda before moving to Maryland.  There are steps showing the progression of the leveling and wood floor installation of one (1) bed room upstairs and outside view of before and after front door installation.

As a note, during our first week in Maryland we have found a townhouse to rent just outside of Annapolis.

Putting in floor joists above the floor to make a level floor.

After the joists were installed, 3/4" tongue and groove panels were installed as the subfloor.

Then Ray Jr begins the 3/4" t &g wood flooring installation using a manual nailer.

Both pictures show the finished floor in the upstairs bedroom.

Outside view of new front door.  We still need to paint the side panels white and will install some black trim.
